Top, Right a stone base is the setting for a simple candle light design, which works great as a corner piece in a flowerbed. The light here is a basic 12-watt incandescent SC Bayonet bulb, but the fixture can accommodate a led. Middle & Bottom, Right Brass 'mica' Craftsman lights with 13-watt SC Bayonet incandescent bulbs were used to light these walls at the los angeles County arboretum and Botanical garden, and for the path lighting (right) at the arboretum. The designer also uses 2-4 watt leds for such lighting applications, depending on the client's desires. mica light was popular in the 1920s, an old Craftsman style the lighting designer adapted for pathway lighting.
