62 Landscape Architect and Specifier News Dubquque's Millwork District At the turn of the 20th century, the Millwork District in downtown Dubuque, Iowa was the backbone of the regional economy. Today, the historic district offers a million square feet of warehouse space for mixed-use development. The city installed LED 'Chateau' series luminaires (Sternberg Lighting) throughout the Millwork District. The Chateau features a 94-watt LED array and 4500K-color temperature. The luminaire is a large scale, dramatic design fixture 30" wide and 33" tall. Its cylindrical body has a cast aluminum top, round lens and flat, spun aluminum shade. About 200 of the same LED luminaires were also installed for a large outlet mall in the Chicago area.
