Landscape Architectural Services, LLC assisted the city of Milford with design, construction documentation and specifications, permitting, securing funding grants, bidding and contract administration for 20 phases of this 22 phase greenway, starting in 1993 and continuing into 2018 and beyond. The Mispillion River Greenway has helped to rejuvenate the city of Milford by inviting residents and visitors alike to come downtown. It offers a unique view of the river and all its wonderful wildlife and rich history. And it links shops, hotels, cultural sites and neighborhoods together with a mile-long, safe and pleasant pedestrian trail. The Mill Pond section includes the site of the historic mill, mill stream and mill pond, after which Milford is named. The Inns of the Mispillion section uses a raised boardwalk to give a great view of the river and wetlands. Landscape Architectural Services, LLC celebrates 34 years of service to clients in Delaware and Maryland. During that time the Primary Design Team of Matt Spong and Trisha Sawicki has remained constant, providing site, park planning and landscape architecture for institutional, government, commercial and residential clients. Since l984, the firm has successfully completed over 1,600 projects which are environmentally sound, beautiful, user friendly and economically viable. Not only do they offer great design, they're experts in guiding projects through important steps like building consensus among stakeholders, permit processing, developing budgets and assisting owners with securing construction funding grants as well as bidding and contract administration.
