Brielle, New Jersey Harrison Urby, Harrison N.J. As a unique addition to the residential redevelopment underway in Harrison, N.J., Harrison Urby gives a new take on the Harrison experience. It brings a playful and organic experience to the transit-orientated micro- neighborhood by weaving the natural landscape with community interaction and activity. Features of the 1.4- acre amenity courtyard space include outdoor cooking and dining spaces, table and lawn games, a firepit lounge, and a pool terrace. There is also a café with an outdoor terrace, a dog park, and a spacious lawn for leisurely play or picnicking. Each of these elements is framed with native shrubs, wildflowers, perennials, and ornamental grasses, which provide a naturalistic escapism from within the context of urban development. Melillo + Bauer Associates, Inc. was founded in 1979 by Sam Melillo + Tom Bauer and has grown in size and stature to become a leader in the profession, both in New Jersey and throughout the northeast United States. The firm currently consists of 4 Principals - Tom Bauer, Tom Carman, Lynn Yahia and Joe Melillo, 3 Associates - Jason Tronco, Tim Symanski and Julie Kobesky, and an additional staff of 22 professionals. The main office is in Brielle, with a second office in Jersey City, N.J. The firm embraces the principles of sustainability, green technology, ecological awareness, and fiscal responsibility.
