ASLA member and University of Virginia professor Brad Cantrell will give a talk on how landscape architects work to combine technology with natural elements. https://tinyurl. com/ycza799q Time to Submit Nominees for Honors Awards Nominations for the 2019 ASLA Honors, which recognize individuals and organizations for their lifetime achievements and notable contributions, are now open until February 1. The awards include: the ASLA Medal, the ASLA Design Medal, the Community Service Awards, the Jot D. Carpenter Teaching Medal, the LaGasse Medals, the Landscape Architecture Firm Award, the Landscape Architecture Medal of Excellence and the Olmsted Medal.
