movers & shakers Victor Stanley welcomed Charlene Vera and Claire McFarland to their growing team of corporate business developers. Vera joined the customer service Charlene Vera department in February 2012. After months of training she kickedoff her new endeavor as corporate business developer with travel to Nashville early this year. McFarland joined the team in February 2013, bringing with her 20 years of experience in retail, sales and development. Claire McFarland Dallas Park and Recreation board voted unanimously to name Willis Winters, the new director Information Request # 609 88 Landscape Architect and Specifier News of the park and recreation department. Winters is a 20-year veteran with the department and since 1998 has been assistant director responsible for planning and capital development. Willis Winters He was the co-project director for the department's visionary and nationally recognized long-range development plan, A Renaissance Plan, in 2002. Villa Landscapes in Oakdale, Burnsville and Maple Grove/Brooklyn Park, Minn., welcomed two new landscape design professionals to its team of landscape architects, John Johnson designers and installers. John Johnson joins the company as a landscape architect. With both commercial and residential experience, Johnson has designed, managed and overseen large-scale Rachel Grommersch projects from golf courses and national store landscaping to freeway sound wall landscapes and outdoor signage. Rachel Grommersch joins the company with a bachelor of science in landscape architecture from South Dakota State University. She is a Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association-certified professional. In addition to landscape design, her experience includes native plantscapes, use of sustainable landscape elements for erosion control and other solutions. Architectural lighting design company Biella Lighting Design celebrated its 5th anniversary. Founded in 2008 by Ella Mills LEED AP, IES, associate IALD, Ella Mills Biella creates elegant, creative commercial and residential design solutions that combine sustainable, energy efficient and functional strategies. Biella is a Women Business Enterprise, Emerging Small Business and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certified in the state of Oregon.
