Foster Conant & Associates appointed David Seaberg to associate principal. He recently celebrated his 14 year anniversary with the firm. Seabergt is a Massachusetts native where he received his undergraduate degree in psychology at Boston College and his masters of landscape architecture at the University of Massachusetts. His expertise is in the resort and theme park arena. He recently completed the Antarctica Attraction at SeaWorld Orlando and Baha Mar Resort, New Providence, Bahamas. In 1954, an innovative, young entrepreneur named Keith Borglum heard from his brother that the city of Cedar Falls, Iowa was looking for someone to fabricate steel charcoal grills for use in the public parks. Keith, who was nicknamed Kay from his initial as a child by his grandmother, had already been manufacturing other equipment in the garage on his family's farm, and was intrigued by the new opportunity. Kay Park Recreation was born in rural Iowa and will be celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. ANP Lighting has named Craig Brauks as director of business development. In this position, he will help strengthen the company's position as a premier manufacturer of powerful, flexible and innovative LED products. Brauks has over 27 years of experience in the industry, having held general manager positions at both Lam Lighting, a specialty architectural lighting company, and Philips Burton, a medical lighting manufacturer. HGA Architects and Engineers promoted Ross Altheimer to associate vice president at the Minneapolis office. As director of landscape architecture, he oversees strategic planning, business development and design innovation on a variety of projects. His experience includes urban design and planning, cultural institutions, campuses, memorials, parks, and interpretive sites. Altheimer was recipient of the 2012-2013 Rome Prize in Landscape Architecture, an 11-month self-directed Fellowship. He has a master of architecture and master of landscape architecture from the University of Virginia, and a bachelor of science in architectural studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
