102 Landscape Architect and Specifier News HGOR Atlanta, Georgia Charlie Loudermilk Park Atlanta, Georgia Charlie Loudermilk Park is a one-acre open space in Atlanta's Buckhead community. The goal for this long underused area was to create a safe and dynamic space that embodied the character and history of Buckhead. HGOR collaborated closely with the civil engineer and contractors to deliver the project on time and under budget. As the project lead, HGOR's work included coordinating delivery of a 60-foot tall clock tower, overseeing the installation of the lawn underdrain system and interactive water feature, and helping coordinate the implementation of the third phase of the Peachtree Streetscape improvement project. HGOR is focused on designing great places for people that support clear returns on investment and provide a stewardship ethic for future generations. Since this approach has distinct Social, Economic and Environment components, HGOR calls it "SEE philosophy". When team members encounter problems and challenges they look to SEE solutions to resolve them. HGOR currently has two principals, four associates and 16 additional staff.
