October 2016 113 Morgan Farm, Austin, Indiana Above: Morgan Farm is a place for the owner to enjoy. Mr. Esarey designed the farm landscape to least impact the site. On this farm are quarter horses, buffalo, hunting dogs, quails and pheasants. The design work included a lake, trails, pastures and indoor and outdoor arenas. Morgan Residence, Austin, Indiana Right: This Olmsted Brothers landscape update was featured in the January 2016 issue of LASN . It is also a Kentucky ASLA Chapter award winner. Bill Esarey investigated the archival documents and pieced together a garden for the Morgans that was as true to the Olmsted documents as possible. Mt. Brilliant, Lexington, Kentucky Bottom, Left & Right: Mt. Brilliant is a Kentucky ASLA Chapter Honor Award winner. Over the last 10 years Mr. Esarey has helped to develop the 1,300 acre Bluegrass Farm into a state-of-the-art thoroughbred facility. Creator, the 2016 Belmont winner, was bred at Mt. Brilliant.
