132 Landscape Architect and Specifier News Horvath Associates Durham, North Carolina Sutton Station, Durham, North Carolina Sutton Station was one of Durham's first true mixed-use projects incorporating 100,000 square feet of office space; 48,000 square feet of commercial space and 57 upper story apartments in a mix of one, two and three- story buildings on 15.94 acres. The project was started in 1999 with completion of the final phases in 2006 and updates in 2014. Horvath Associates, P.A. is an experienced team of landscape architects, engineers, surveyors and construction management professionals. Established in 1988, the firm has 28 years of experience involving site analysis, due diligence reports, site development, master planning and infrastructure design. Their design process is characterized by intense collaboration between client, design disciplines, and the final product. Their diverse group of talent includes five principals and nine employees who work with clients from project inception through occupancy to create an on-time and on-budget process.
